When I went to law school, I was very fortunate to receive a law school scholarship offered at my law school through the Rockefeller Foundation.  Not only did this scholarship pay for school, it paid me a monthly stipend, paid for me to take bar review course, and paid for me to take the bar exam.  That’s the kind of law school scholarship everyone dreams of, right?  Well, this article will show you a few places where you can go to find a law school scholarship.

One of the best places to find law school scholarships is through your law school’s financial aid or admissions offices.  There are many foundations or organization that provide scholarships that are specific and limited to the law school you are attending.  To learn about those scholarships, it’s easiest to go directly through the school.

Also, the bar associations in the state where you plan on attending law school is good resource for law school scholarship information.  As part of the state bar association, there will likely be a foundation established which awards law school scholarships to law students in that particular state.  Be sure to check with your state’s bar association when you’re searching for scholarships for law school.

Additionally, there are many law school scholarship funding sources that you can apply directly to.  Here’s a short list of scholarships and the qualifications for applying for them:
